I'm just a mom who wants children of all ages to be happy.
Sometimes just reading something reminds us of the greatness that we feel inside that gets kicked around by life. Doubts creep in, worse yet, they can linger.
Mommy wants happy healthy babies out in the world.
In order to be happy and healthy, we need to be reminded of any number of things to keep us on a journey we will be proud of.
The feeling of pride goes hand in hand with happy, and healthy is the physical manifestation of "all that". Mostly. That and washing your hands.
See what I mean about reminding you of things.
When we were little, we would forget to wash our hands, and mom would remind us. Now, I'm doing the same thing only on a bigger scale.
Wash your brains of all the things you need to forgive yourself for, and do better when you have the opportunity.
Oh, and see everything as an opportunity to do better.
EVERYTHING.

It's tough out there right now. People are without jobs, and questions loom about basic survival and questions of "should I survive" come about.
When you can't see how this, that or the other is going to come about, and your prayers are seemingly unanswered, I ask you to step back from your situation for a moment.
In your head, I want you to visit those times when you were down before, yet somehow managed to get past it. I want you to remember how it feels to have a positive moment come into your world when things are feeling negative.
I want you to play with how you can create more positive energy in spite of the negative energy that is there. Creating positive feelings strictly from inside your own head is a very important skill that I want all of you to have.
That is the old school way of pulling yourself up by your boot straps.
You are the only one who is always there for you.
Use the incredible part that sometimes hides inside you, but is there in everyone of us to remind yourself of the love that you have for yourself. You are going to take care of yourself better than anyone else could.
Remember how you feel when things are going well.
Take the memory of the feeling and relish it in that thick skull of yours.
With all that relish going on, you should end up with a tastier feeling, but instead of doing the reminiscing dance, I want you to find a trace of that feeling in your immediate situation.
Find the feeling that you most truly wish to have.
Be the explorer that takes that big huge feeling and successfully brings it back to share with your future self and your now.
Feel the feelings you wish to have, do the behavior that creates more of that feeling, and be right here, right now. Take your past, and move into your now, creating a better future moment. Build up all those moments into happier past feelings which make the boot straps pull up so much easier as you smile yourself a nice big smile.
