We are all born of a mother and a father.  The similarity can end right there.  The family situations of a child vary widely, and in the end we are left as "grown-ups" that still have the ability to "grow".

You can grow in a multitude of different directions, but are you aware of how you are helping yourself? 

Are you aware of how you make a few boo boos here and there?  Because we all do.  With mistakes, if you can at least own it to yourself, that is the first step. 

Didn't Dr. Phil say that "You can't change what you don't acknowledge"?

Did my English teacher say double negatives in a sentence aren't quite right?

My version:

You can change. 

You are always growing.

You have the ability to be as aware as you wish/choose to be.

In thinking about things that you wish for, do you wish for things that you have any possible control over?

By that, I mean do you wish for things completely out of your grasp, or do you wish for things that if you had the ability to do( x, y, or z )- then you would have the desired result?

If you are wishing and praying for things that are completely out of your grasp, what I want you to do is to figure out what part of that desire you ACTUALLY do have the ability to have an effect on.

You have more that you are able to do than you realize.  Putting your positive thoughts together with your positive actions, you are always able to have some kind of impact upon your desire.

When you have a feeling that you are out of control, realize that you never will have complete control, and deal with the part that you ACTUALLY do have control over.

And please - please - please,

be kind to yourself (and others) in this process. 

But I am more concerned with YOU!

You, the one who is reading this right now.

I want you to feel the power that you really do have, and I want you to not feel so helpless.  I want for you to be proud of yourself, and I want you to love deeply.  I want you to love yourself more than you love anything or anyone else.  I want you to love the creation of you as the most miraculous creation "on God's green earth".

I want you to feel the feeling of self-control.

I want you to turn your wishes into your choices.

I want to help you figure out how to do just that.

That in turn translates to - I hope you understand what I have written, and that I tend to bounce around in conversation, so I do the same thing on my web site.  Soon enough there will be enough content that you can assemble the clues for an easier life lived well!
